Were you planning a lovely, peaceful relaxing walk on the Cape Fear Riverwalk in downtown Wilmington, NC today? Awwww! Me too! It was closed when I was there at 2pm. It's the 2nd day of the 2021 NEW YEAR & I'm guessing that it was closed due to construction of the new park. That will be ready by the Spring, according to the city plans. But this is the 1st time that I've seen it closed. I just wanted to give a heads to anyone who wanted to come down for a refreshing walk. I had never seen a Cape Fear Riverwalk Closure, but here's what I decided to do instead....
I took a stroll to the front of Front Street & was able to find a relaxing bench in the sun. Because it's 45 degrees on this chilly January day, I needed some sun to keep me warm. I was able to get some journal writing done on my new course about, "What they don't tell you wen planning your wedding," I'm having so much fun getting this amazing course together, I know that it's going to help so many Brides & Grooms to be.
